For those of you who don’t know what Mochi ice cream is, mochi ice cream is a glutinous rice cake that has ice cream inside, like vanilla which is shown in the above picture. This is not your ordinary ice cream and is definitely worth a try. If you never had mochi before, you can try going to a Japanese market or a Chinese bakery and ask for it. Remember it’s just the mochi itself and it may contain things like peanuts or red bean. Try and ask it when you’re around the neighborhood. It is a delicious treat and it tastes even better when combined with ice cream.
You can usually find this in chinatown like in Dynasty Supermarket for $4.68 for 6 pieces. This particular brand carries six flavors: vanilla, strawberry, green tea, coffee, mango, and red bean.
I’ve only tried Vanilla and Red Bean so far, and I really like the vanilla. Plain ol’ vanilla. I have coffee at home since mom bought the wrong one and will try to give it a shot. But for now check it out. Wholefoods sell this as well and some more expensive and higher class mochis, like Bubbies Ice Cream recommended by softrice and by Oprah herself!
Taste: Very sweet and soft with a doughy texture that is at first foreign to the mouth, but then followed by a familar pleasure that begs your mouth to have more. Try it!

that brand is not the best fyi. There is another Japanese brand that is SO much better. It’s avail in chocolate, Taro, Vanilla and Green Tea. Green Tea is an orgasm and a half. hahaha I pwn with the orgasm and half saying, it’s MY saying lol. Anyways though take care eh? Coffee….tell me how that comes out to taste.

eww. just the word mochi itself sounds gross. and the picture on the box, eww, not appetizing at all. i like my ice-cream sandwiches, klondike brands or carvel.

YUP, been to toronto twice when i was little.
and i’ve always been the same weight, it’s just that my skin isn’t as tight as it used to be in college. and i’ve always been OVER 100 pounds, never under. i had muscle so i was quite lean in college, but now i’m just all soft and squishy, but still the same wieght.

i’m so exhausted and my appetite is unsatisfied. i want chips, but i’m not paying $1 for a 99 cent bag from downstairs. plus most of their chips are well past the expiration date.
i bought a soda down there before and it was expired. i bought chips down there and it was expired. and the bag clearly says 99 cents but they charged me $1. yes i want my penny, but i’m not goig to argue over a penny.

i’m so busy today, after work. i have to remember to get gas when i get home or else my car is going to die in the middle of the road.
then i have to shower and eat and then watch tv for 2 hours and then sleep.
i slept at around 9:15 yesterday and i was still so tired when i woke up.
i think i’m the only person that needs a lot of sleep to function.
